Bhramari Pranayama steps?

Bhramari Pranayama is one such pranayama, by the practice of which a person can reduce his mental stress to a great extent, if I say that Brahmani Pranayama is the best breathing exercise among all the categories of Pranayama’s then it will not be wrong to say.

Bhramari Pranayama which we also say Humming Bee Breath in English and many people find it easy to do it but many of them are not able to do it properly and in the right way then today we will focus on the Bhramari Pranayama steps in detail. 

■ For the practice of this pranayama, we will sit in a comfortable position or asana at our place. 

■ After sitting in one of the comfortable postures we will put our hands above our knees in Gyan Mudra or our hands normally on our knees. 

■ After placing the hands above the knees, we will close our eyes softly. 

■ After closing the eyes we will normally take long deep breaths for 2 minutes and exhale them out. 

■ After about 2 minutes, now first will make mudra Shanmukhi mudra and after that start practice. 

*If you are unable to make Shanmukhi Mudra, you can instead practice this pranayama by closing the bones outside your ear with the help of your index or middle finger. 

■ Now we will take a long breath and expand the diaphragm and lungs completely to inhale. 

■ Then as you exhale from inside your body, a sound like a bee will be produced from the throat. 

■ Leaving the facial muscles completely loose, will produce sound from the larynx (throat) very easily and naturally.

If we practice this pranayama with bandha, then we can practice this pranayama with two bandhas by applying Antrik Kumbhaka, with Jalandhara bandha and with Mool bandha, follow all Bhramari Pranayama steps carefully.

■ To practice this pranayama even with bandh, you should come in a comfortable position or asana. 

■ After sitting in a comfortable posture, in the same way, keep your hands on your knees in Gyan Mudra. 

■ Then you close your eyes softly and take long deep breaths inside your body and let them out. 

■ Now from here, we will start practicing Bhramari Pranayama with a bandh. 

■ Now you take a long deep breath and hold the breath inside the body, then you first apply Jalandhar bandha and then apply Moolbandha. 

■As long as you can hold the breath and the bandhas, hold them naturally, when you cannot hold the breath, then first you will open the Moola bandha and then the sequence of opening the Jalandhar bandha is reverse, so you open these bandhas in the same sequence. 

■ After opening the bandhs, now we will exhale out through our throat and while exhaling, a sound like a bee should be produced from our larynx (throat).
